Advanced Export
You can define
advanced exporting settings to populate Excel worksheets by using Excel
templates with pre-defined tokens that replace tagged instance data. These
worksheets can then be exported to your local download folder.
Follow these steps to define advanced export settings. For example,
- Open Data manager.
- In the General group, select Advanced export.
- Enter applicable
Tokens as follows:
Display Name Description Example Defaults Start token The start token value.
This value is used to identify the start of a property name.
<ec>NAME <ec> End Token The end token value (cannot be the same as the StartToken). This value is used to identify the end of a property name. NAME</ec> </ec> Simple Token Used to map a single property. $NAME $ - Enter applicable
File Names as follows:
Display Name Description Example Defaults Property The name of the property to be used as the file name. This value can be expanded to use tokens.
In the following example:
<ec>NAME</ec> - Model(<ec>MODEL_NUMBER</ec>)
The file name appears as follows:
C-0001 - Model(A100).xlsx
NAME, CodeValue NAME Single sheet Workbook name when all sheets are exported in one file.
DataSheets DataSheets - Enter applicable
Options, as follows:
- When you are finished, click Save.
